Chilly Beaver Designs was born from 23 years of hearing "you're so inspiring" for simply existing.

I'm Chilly B., founder and lead designer. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2001, and after two decades of being treated like a motivational poster instead of a person, I finally hit my limit.

The truth? Most days I'm not brave. I'm not a warrior battling anything. I'm just someone navigating life with MS—some days are victories, some days are disasters, and most days are somewhere in between. And honestly? I'm tired of pretending otherwise.

I realized the world treats disability like it's either a tragedy or a miracle. There's no in-between. No room for the messy reality. No space for humor.

That needed to change.

I started designing apparel that reflects what living with a chronic illness actually feels like—the frustration, the absurdity, the dark humor that gets us through. Apparel that says what we're really thinking when someone calls us "brave" for leaving the house.

This brand is for people who are done whispering about disability.

It's for people tired of being treated like motivational objects. For those of us who'd rather laugh at ourselves than be someone's feel-good story. For anyone who knows that some days you win, some days you don't, and humor is what keeps you going.
